Winross created a beautiful black fleet replica. It was packaged in a custom box with the label "18 Wheels of Cheese Inside"! Knowing that each package would be delivered to a buyer the company wanted to reach, Heluva Good Cheese included product information and explained that a company representative would be calling for an appointment. The response was close to 100% - the rep got the appointments and the Western territory was opened and established. Heluva Good Cheese used the same promotion in the Southeast and recently commissioned Winross to make straight cargo trucks with their new graphics. Winross truck models are the perfect way to roll right onto a prospect's desktop!
In 1991, Ford Heavy Trucks commissioned Winross to produce models of their sleek new Aeromax 120, a total upgrade of their traditional LTL 9000 units. Working in strict security, with an extremely tight schedule, Winross met their deadline for the spectacular dealer introduction held in Montreal. With several design and graphics revisions - it was close, but we made it! Ford was so impressed with our design and engineering, they once again tapped Winross for 1/64 replicas of their prototype HN80 trucks, subsequently named the Ford Aeromax Louisville. Again, tight security, tight timelines, many last minute changes - and we were ready! The models were an important part of their kick-off and have become cherished collectibles and constant reminders of a great company.
