Attending Collector Events
Each year, hundreds of collectors join us at Winross Weekend - an event for collecting, socializing and plain old fun! It's but one of numerous collector events that give people year-round pleasure. Collector events offer opportunities to meet old friends and pen pals, get new additions for a treasured collection and check on the value of individual trucks or an entire collection. They're times for discovering what's new and exciting with the hobby and listening to interesting speakers. And much, much more is part of the great world of collecting Winross die cast models.

A Special Event
Our annual Winross weekend is held in a location that is determined each year. It has been held in Holland MI, Rochester NY, Corning NY, Harrisburg PA just to name a few locations. The annual gathering is enjoyed tremendously by the hundreds of people attending - and by the Winross staff who also attend the event. There are displays put on by several chapters of the club as well. The weekend is filled with talks, a toy show, an auction of over 300 models, and a dinner with special speakers.

Several hundred people attend the Winross weekend auction. The bidding is lively, and prices range from a few dollars to over one thousand dollars. Auctioned models come from collectors, dealers, and even from the Winross archives of many years ago. A few highlights from years past have been a Barnes Trucking that realized $1250, a Bubble Yum model in pink for $800, an Autocar Wrecker for $180, and a United Van Lines with imprint for $85.
